Marble Cake Paling Senang & Seri Muka Microwave

Sebab ramai yg mintak both recipes, saya tepek disini ya. Ini dia recipe Marble Cake yg baling dalam mixer (dgn syarat pakai stand mixer la) atau dalam food processor, lepas tu campak dalam oven. Hehehe. Saya ambil dari BBC Good Food.

MARBLE CAKE
Ingredients
225g butter , softened
225g caster sugar
4 eggs
225g self-raising flour
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa powder

Method
Heat oven to 180C/gas 160C/gas 4. Grease a 20cm cake tin and line the bottom with a circle of greaseproof paper. If you want to make life easy, simply put all the ingredients (except the cocoa powder) into a food processor and whizz for 1-2 mins until smooth. If you prefer to mix by hand, beat the butter and sugar together, then add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold through the flour, milk and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.

2. Divide the mixture between 2 bowls. Stir the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls. Take 2 spoons and use them to dollop the chocolate and vanilla cake mixes into the tin alternately. When all the mixture has been used up (and if young kids are doing this, you'll need to ensure the base of the tin is fairly evenly covered), tap the bottom on your work surface to ensure that there aren't any air bubbles. Take a skewer and swirl it around the mixture in the tin a few times to create a marbled effect.

3. Bake the cake for 45-55 mins until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Turn out onto a cooling rack and leave to cool. Will keep for 3 days in an airtight container or freeze for up to 3 months.




Ini pulak recipe seri muka yg dibuat guna microwave. Tapi dgn syarat kamu pakai bekas yg tahan panas la. Rasanya ada member saya buat guna tupperware. Recipe ni saya ambil dari group FB Recipes for Ramadhan Bristol which disumbangkan oleh Farah. Farah kata dia ambil dkt blog someone yg dia tak ingat sapa. So, credit kepada tuan punya recipe ye.

SERI MUKA
Step A
1 cawan pulut
air (sama paras dengan pulut)

1. Masukkan ke dalam microwave high power 5 minit
2. Keluarkan & gaulkan dengan garpu

Step B
1/2 cawan santan
1/2 cawan air & sedikit garam

3. Kacau & tuang ke dalam pulut step A tadi
4. Masukkan ke dalam microwave high power 10 minit
5. Keluarkan & kacau, tekan sampai rata

Step C
1/2 cawan santan
1/2 cawan air
7 sudu besar gula
3 sudu tepung
1 biji telur
pewarna hijau

6. Blendkan semua bahan, kemudian masukkan atas pulut Step B
7. Wrap permukaan container dengan cling foil yang microwaveable
8. Masukkan ke dalam microwave, high power, 8 minit

Step D
9. Keluarkan dari microwave, buang plastik foil tadi (be careful of the steam)
10. Masukkan balik ke dalam microwave, high power, 4 minit



Ingredients tu just guideline aje. Kalau kamu rasa kamu nak tambah ingredients, pandai2 la adjust the time utk microwave. Macam semalam, saya guna 1 setengah cawan beras pulut, so kena kasik adjust sikit kandungan garam and all. On the last step, it says there 4 minute kan, tapi kalau kamu letak jari kamu atas layer hijau tu and still basah, microwave lagi 4 minit. Make sure top of layer hijau tu kering baru buleh stop microwave. And kalau taknak lembik sgt layer hijau tu pun, microwave je lagi, ok. Make sure dah sejuk, baru buleh potong, kalau tak herot petot la kamu potong, heheh.
