Keropok Losong and Mee Goreng Mamak Power!!

I'm not that rajin to make keropok lekor here. Every time I craved for keropok lekor, I always remember keropok lekor losong that my mom bought when we still lived in Pekan, Pahang. Yummeh!!! No, she did not travelled all the way to Terengganu just to buy the keropok. She asked her colleague who was in duty to deliver things in Terengganu to buy the keropok, oh my mom was a Pos Malaysia staff. So, now I'm England. How can I get the keropok lekor losong? Worry no more peeps.

And pabila siap digoreng, waduh waduh, all mine, satu pun T-Bag tak sentuh, hhahahaha!!! Dan rasanya saling tak tumpah mcm keropok lekor losong.

And for today's iftar, we have Mee Goreng Mamak Power. This is the yummiest mee goreng mamak ever and I'm using the same recipe since last year. As usual, the recipe came from my tok guru, Kak Nor. But the recipe I put here is based on my anak tekak.

Ingredients:

1 bungkus mee kuning
Daging
2 ulas bawang putih ~ diketuk
2 sudu besar cili mesin
5 ulas bawang merah ~ diblend
2 ulas bawang putih ~ diblend
3 sudu besar kicap pekat
2 sudu besar kicap manis
2 sudu besar sos tiram
sedikit garam
2 bj telur
kangkung (kak nor letak kangkung, but I prefer pakchoi and today we're out of pakchoi, so no veges)
sedikit air
minyak

1. Panaskan minyak masak dan masukkan bawang putih yg diketuk. Goreng hingga wangi/perang.
2. Masukkan cili mesin dan kacau hingga garing.
3. Masukkan bahan yg diblend dan kacau goreng hingga pecah minyak.
4. Masukkan daging dan sedikit air utk mengempukkan daging.
5. Masukkan kicap pekat, kicap manis, sos tiram dan garam.
6. Gula perlu dimasukkan utk bg balance rasa masin dr kicap2 dan sos tiram. (Hati2 bila masukkan garam sbb dah banyak rasa masin dr kicap2 dan sos tiram td)
7. Goreng hingga pecah minyak pastu masukkan telur.
8. Kacau hingga telur masak dan masukkan pakchoi yg dah dipotong.
9. Kacau2 kejap baru la dimasukkan mee.
10. Kacau mee hingga sebati dgn rempah2. Biarkan masak seketika baru la dipadamkan api.

 Korang try la buat, confirm korang akan angguk2 pastu geleng2 lagi sambil mulut kunyah mee ini, sambal cakap oh my! oh my! Ada 10 steps aje nak buat, dgn jaminan dr aku, INI MEE SEDAP LAH OI!
