14th

Yesterday, I had a short discussion with Mike before he fly to U.S. for two weeks end summer holiday. This time I didn't show him my progress on programming part. We discussed a little bit about my PhD direction. The discussion took about 15 minutes, lagi lama train aku ke Birmingham, chait! He asked me to read more about facial tracking which I'm contemplating to not include in my research, sebab susah! But since he already asked me to do it, kena la ikut. Most supervisor always know what best for his/her students, tapi nak jek ckp dkt Mike, "Mike, I just want to finish what I've started, I don't have any intention to be the best". Tapi tak cakap, sebab dah tau jawapannya "Hamimah, we must aim higher".

After that, I went to see ahli mesyuarat pintu, Mileen and Ayu to have an update mengenai masalah negara. Do a little bit reading on basic texture mapping, yes, when you' re stucked at something, try reading. Then, we went to Soy Cafe to take away food for my iftar, sebab kang dah sampai Bristol tak sempat masak. While waiting for the food to be ready, we went to Day Inn shop. I bought salted fish there and I bought petai from China shop in Bull Ring market.

Took a train to Bristol at 5.36pm. Arrived home at 7.45pm, see told ya tak sempat masak. We had squid pepper egg fried rice with sambal sardin semalamnye. Syukur. 

For today, sebab dah ada ikan masin itu, terus lah jadik nasik goreng ikan masin. Kurang pedas, but if I put more cili padi takut sakit perut pulakkan. We had the fried rice with sambal ikan bilis petai, ikan selar goreng and cendawan masak air. For my dessert I had taufu fa which I bought yesterday. Tapi rupanya the taufu fa, they didn't put air gula, so rasa tawar. Me being lazy, malas nak buat air gula, makan macam tu je. But sedap je sebab sejuk je masuk tekak. 


I tried Che Iza's recipe from My Resipi. Aku kan selalu lupa the whole recipe, so lupa nak letak nampla, chettt!!! Tapi sedap aje. Next time I definitely used this recipe again. Since I don't have Kailan and long beans, I replaced it with oyster mushroom.
  • 3 mangkuk nasi
  • 1/2 labu bawang besar dihiris
  • 2 ulas bawang putih di ketuk
  • 8 biji cili padi diketuk
  • Ikan tenggiri masin sebesar 2 jari dipotong kecil.
  • 2 sb sos tiram
  • 1 sb nampla (sos ikan)
  • 2 helai kailan
  • 1 btg kacang panjang dipotong kecil
  • lobak merah di potong kecil
  • sedikit garam (tu pun kalau sos tiram tak masin)

Cara-cara

  1. Tumis ikan masin, tekan sikit dgn sudip biar dia hancur.
  2. Bila ikan masin nak garing masukkan bwg besar, bwg putih dan cili padi. Tumis sampai naik bau masukkan sos tiram dan nampla.
  3. Masukkan kacang panjang, lobak merah dan nasi gaul rata. boleh letak garam sikit kalau sos tiram tu tak masin.Bila nasi dah nak masak baru letak kailan. Siap utuk dimakan.

oh saya sangat suka moto kamu- siapkan apa yang perlu, cita² terlalu tinggi? tak perlu. keh keh.

i stand by that motto too, tapi selalu gak tak siap benda yang patut disiapkan sebab terlencong baca blog kawan² ;)

Sedapnye sambal petai.. Nak wat jugak lah.. wes, Chenta hati ko pakai ID ape lam FB? aku nak stalk dia jap ;p sila msg k.. ;p

KOG: kalau dah siap kerja and u have more time, boleh la nak aim for the best kan... ini nak pegi toilet pun kena pikir masak2.. hehehehhe
