The Dry Run

It's 32 degrees today.
Macam dah kat Jasin weh panasnye!

Yesterday we had a barbecue at one of the Bristolians. Since next week will be our turn, we need to make a dry run.  Kami kan amateur. Yelah kena la test nak idupkan api bagaikan. After half an hour, barulah ada bara api.
Lamb, chicken sausages and sweet potatoes.

The lambs was quite tender because I used coke as the tenderizer. We marinaded the lamb meat with coke overnight, then the next morning, we drained it and added salt, pepper, oyster sauce, hot chilli powder, sweet soy sauce, garlic and ginger. I made a blackpepper gravy to go with the meat. We invited our neighbour, Carol and Oliver, to our dry run session. It seems like they both liked the food. Kalau depa buat2 suka tu, taktau la kan.. tapi kalau dah tambah makanan, ok la tu kot.

Hopefully we will be fine next week. Jangan ler hujan kan and jangan la panas sampai 32 degrees, fuhhh!
