Yellow Glutinous Rice (Pulut Kuning) with Chicken Curry and Hard-Boiled Egg

Oh, in case you're wondering, no one in my house had been circumcised recently and we don't have a hantu raya to be given such a treat. It's just me and my winter mood.

Normally people used steamer to cook the glutinous rice. The food steamer is not that expensive here (Argos brand around GBP10), but it's small, like this. Takde feel ok nak nak masak guna yg ini.
 
What I need is this, an aluminium steamer. I am sure that every house in Kampung Kesang Tua, Jasin and Parit Beting, Muar have this.


But I heard the price for an aluminium steamer here is GBP30 and for an obvious reason, I didn't buy it.
So, how did I cook the glutinous rice?
Using the two best inventions in the world of cooking: rice cooker and microwave.
First, I cooked the glutinous rice using rice cooker. Once, it's cooked but actually still wet (my mistake, I put a lot of coconut milk, ah totally sinful!), I microwaved it for 10 minutes using medium high setting. Then, it's done, just because I said so, hikhikhik.

Takde butir2 nasi mcm org lain punya pulut kuning, but ok la.

Oh that was T-Bag's plate.
I'll be eating the oatmeal for the whole week if I dare to eat such big portion.
Tapiiiiiiiiii, nak lagi!!!But nehi kabi nehi :(

kari ayam tu nmpk sedap. tp pulut kuning tu agak potong...ehehehe...

ko pakai steamer tu pn boleh. ko pakai rice coocer pn boleh. tp jgn letak byk sgt air. air kurang dr msk nasi. santan letak last2 bila pulut tu dh msk. just perasa je. tu aku la..hik hik

laki aku mmg suke mkn pulut. sminggu skali msti nk pulut...huhuu

okeh.. next week leh buat lagi..kali ni lose the santan lah, kang membesar bagai juara je.. laki ko suke makan pulut eh, banyak angin ooo.... takpe, asalkan jgn kepala hangin je..kekeke

ibusinga: rupa pulut tu mmg tak selera aa saya nak makan, tapi sebab dah teringin, belasah jek la.. kite pun taktau kat mana chohong... yg pastinya kalu dr muo nak ke jasin, nampak aa signboard tulis chohong..heheheh

Pulut tu kepal-kepal macam biji buah melaka, lepas tu salut ngan serunding lagi sedap. Makan berbakul-bakul pun tak sedor tau.

okeh gak tu kak gerau.. nanti balik mesia, saya angkut serunding daging...kepal2, golek2 kat serunding tapi confirm tak sempat landing atas pinggan hidang, landing dkt perut saya je.. hikhikhik
