Precious from Kuching

I received a parcel from my MIL and SIL, all the way from Kuching.

1. 10 packs of Laksa Sarawak paste=50 people
(Bile plak aku nak buat kenduri laksa ni? hehehe, tunggguuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!)
2. Torch ginger (Bunga Kantan)
3. Vietnamese coriander or known as Laksa Leaf (Daun Kesum)
4. Shrimp paste (it's not belacan, a paste that is used in Laksa Sarawak recipe)
5. Sarawak Layered Cakes (Kek Lapis Horlick and Kek Lapis Waterfront)

The parcel came with the recipes.
How did my MIL know that this is my 1st attempt to make Laksa Sarawak?
She sent her scrumptious daging masak hitam recipe as well.
See the word 'untok'? :)

And the recipes end with the common phrase for a chef to say in her/his cooking TV programme.

SIL kite pos hari kamis, sampai sini hari isnin.. ye, masih segar...kita terus freeze kan die.. sebab hajat dihati nak guna masa hari raya aji.. hehehe.. aci tak?
